SFL INDIA LEAGUE 2

SFL hosted the India League 2 in League Format. The season has demonstrated a strong proof of concept through its successfully completed league.

The league was televised globally on Viacom 18’s MTV, Fox Network, Tencent, Sky Television, Eleven Sports, ABS CBN and attained a cumulative global TV reach of 45.2 million, which represented an increase of 41% from League 1.

The increase in viewership and outreach resulted in a substantial increase in the Net Sponsorship Value (NSV). In League 2, the NSV was USD 52 million, which increased by 225% from USD 16 million in League 1. This was affirmed with the league securing MTV as the league title sponsor.

Franchises in SFL League 2 were acquired by large multi-national corporations such as Hero Cycles, Jaura Group, Dabur, Vi John, 3 Capital Limited, 8k Miles media and more. Franchisees also included co-ownership stakes by leading Bollywood celebrities such as Tiger Shroff, Arbaz Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Salim Sulaiman and more.

SFL’s unique point scoring system affirmed strong fan engagement creating an exhilarating atmosphere and maximising fan engagement.
