Launched in 2012 and initiated by British-Indian business magnate, investor and philanthropist Bill Dosanjh and British professional boxer, Olympic and two time former world champion; Amir Khan, Super Fight League is India’s first and Asia’s largest platform that conducts events for professional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). A full-contact, combat sports league witnessing participation of over 300 professional fighters from across the globe.

Super Fight League is the first Indian organisation to have been launched in the United States, within the first four years since its advent.

The only Asian sports organization to have reached out as a combat sport favourite in the USA, UAE and Canada in recent years, SFL is a platform that gives opportunities to amateur fighters in a professional cage. The organization has been successfully conducting events overseas regularly.

MMA and Boxing are the only combat sports that are globally commercialised. SFL as an organization has promoted MMA sport in a manner that has not only appealed the majority commercially but also, has been inspiring the entertainment industry greatly. Amongst others, in 2013 SFL launched ‘Friday Fight Nights’ and ‘SFL Challengers’ catering to reality television and being the one projecting India’s first MMA reality shows.

How We Work

Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is a full-contact combat sport. It allows use of both striking and grappling techniques, both standing and on the ground, from variety of other combat sports and martial arts. MMA is one of the fastest growing sports globally with an estimated industry size of $4 Billion with over 100 million viewers. SFL has held 50 events in the last five years. As per the new league pattern, post the league, the organization will conduct monthly ‘MMA Fight Nights’ events throughout the year, in several cities, catering to its large fan base across India.

With eight franchises across India, SFL has expanded its branches overseas as well becoming the first homegrown MMA league to host events in the USA, UAE and Canada.
